Description: The every (other) day misadventures of an amateur Jill-of-all-trades...:p

I could see it in my head: it would be bold, it would be beautiful, it would fit perfectly. So I started knitting it, my made-up baby cardigan, eyeballing all measurements, randomly selecting the stitches...and it turned out pretty good!! Except the back is two inches too wide...so my 18-month-old runs around holding on to each side and spreading it open like a flying squirrel mid-leap. The sleeves are the cutest. They're puffy at the top like I wanted them to be, then they taper beautifully into a cuff mid-upper arm. I'm going to make another one. This time the back will be perfect. How many stitches did I cast on last time?...How come nobody told me I would lose part of my brain when I became a mother? I used to be able to remember these things...by the way, if you're annoyed by flying-by-the-seat-of-their-pants kind of people, you probably don't want to "favorite" this blog...
